14 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
15 - Salt and black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Slice 1 lb flank steak or sirloin steak thinly against the grain. Cut 1 lb fresh broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces. Mince 4 cloves garlic and grate 1 tbsp fresh ginger. Season the sliced beef with salt and black pepper to taste.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce, 1/4 cup low-sodium beef broth, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp honey, and 1 tbsp oyster sauce. This forms the flavorful base for your Quick High-Protein Chinese Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry.
03 - Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the seasoned beef in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned, flipping once. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary. Remove beef and set aside.
04 - Add the remaining 1 tbsp avocado oil to the same wok. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (if using), cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
05 - Return the seared beef to the wok with the broccoli. Give the prepared stir-fry sauce a quick re-whisk and pour it over the beef and broccoli. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything. This completes your Quick High-Protein Chinese Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry.
06 - Remove the Quick High-Protein Chinese Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry from heat. Stir in 1 tsp toasted sesame oil. Taste and adjust salt and black pepper if needed. Garnish with 1 tsp sesame seeds before serving immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For extra tender beef, you can marinate the sliced steak with 1 tsp cornstarch and 1 tbsp soy sauce for 15 minutes before cooking.
02 - Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
03 - Feel free to substitute flank steak with skirt steak or even chicken breast for a different protein. Other veggies like snap peas or bell peppers also work well.
04 - Serve this delicious stir-fry over steamed brown rice or quinoa for a complete, balanced meal, or enjoy it on its own for a lower-carb option.
